Hello, and welcome to my crochet journey! I tend to dabble in hobbies here and there without fully diving in or developing a real knack. What is it…jack of all trades, master of none? Yeah, sounds like me. 🙂 Crochet is one I keep coming back to.

For Valentine’s, I looked for something to make my husband that was useful. I came across the cutest pattern from The Cozy Chipmunk that was PERFECT. My husband loves a good book and can’t make it through the day without his tea. I gave it a shot and the result was too adorable. Admittedly, it took my way too long – I’m a beginner! But the pattern is simple and easy to follow, nothing more complicated than single crochets, increases, decreases, some sewing up, the usual. I tweaked it a bit – I didn’t have safety eyes so just used black yarn and white embroidery thread for the eyes. I also changed the colors and used a different type of yarn. This was a good pattern to get me back into the hobby and I think it’s got me hooked! (lol, for real, no pun was intended until I read that back :D)
